Nottingham Forest suffered a frustrating night at the City Ground after Danish side FC Midtjylland secured a narrow 1 0 victory in the first leg of their Europa League round of sixteen tie. Heavy rain and difficult pitch conditions made the contest unpredictable, but Forest still created several chances during the opening stages.
